Too extreme? Nope. The transformative power of the cloud does not lie in scalability, speed or cost-effectiveness. It’s in the API.

At CloudCover, our obsession with automation is real — to the point where doing something manually twice is one too many times. We live by the motto “automate everything”.

By standardizing within the cloud and making processes as repeatable as possible, enterprises can reap the benefits of cloud sooner, with fewer stumbles. Achievable impact is possible with extreme automation.

Going native

By adopting cloud native solutions, organizations can reduce operational efforts and bring more focus to business aligned applications that solve real problems.

We worked with Ovo, a digital payment service based in Indonesia, to accelerate their cloud value by moving workloads to more cloud native solutions. We migrated and modernized more than 70+ on-premise services to the cloud, with no to minimal downtime.

This led to better user experience by facilitating auto-scaling that wasn’t an easy task when running the service on-premise. This helped them derive equity from our tooling, automation and frameworks, enabling them to achieve cost optimization and ease of operations and scalability.

The proof is in the security

The understanding that security is paramount to an enterprise’s cloud transformation is nothing new. Yet there is one area in which enterprises are still stuck: demonstrating how compliance can be evidenced to regulatory policies.

For example, we helped Indian financial services firm IIFL Finance improve the security posture of their resources – which is paramount in their industry – by optimizing their workloads on the cloud. Through our approach, cloud-native tools, and best practices, IIFL now benefits from up to 33 per cent reduction in their cloud infrastructure cost, better scalability and reliability, in addition to enhanced compliance that improves their business resilience.

Demanding more from data

Right now, everyone’s focused on advanced analytics like machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI) and OpenAI solutions. At CloudCover, we’re all about applying these solutions to data to make that data work harder and smarter and ultimately improve business outcomes.

We brought this rigor to one of our customers, Singapore’s SMARTLab Innovation Center,  by unifying all their data sources and then enriching that data by cleansing, securing, cataloging and centralizing it.

CloudCover helped SMARTLab to create a shared repository of trusted data to facilitate product development and innovation, so that within the organization, diverse teams can effectively consume a variety of data, and use it for analytics. Now the organization can model their data according to their business context and design revenue generating strategies based on data science.

You don’t know what you don’t know

Cloud transformation can get murky. There are many providers, numerous decision points and myriad deliverables. We help our clients start with strategy by defining priorities and goals and then building a cloud system that meets those targets. We bring our vast cloud experience to bear on making the transformation journey easier and helping to reap that elusive return on investment that many companies struggle to achieve.
