The Technology Excellence Awards 2023, was organized and hosted by Quantic India, on 10th of March at Holiday Inn, New Delhi.

Technology Excellence awards provided a platform to all the experts from different Technology sectors to share their expertise on Chabots, Multi- Cloud, future of cloud, AR & VR.

Key Highlights of the panel discussion:

  • Data canters are the backbone of digital infrastructure, and as technology advances, so does the need for increased data storage and processing capabilities. Multi-level digitalization is an effective way to expand capacities of data centre’s to accommodate this growth. This approach involves creating multiple layers of digital resources that can be used for increased storage and processing power, as well as using artificial intelligence (AI) to automate some processes and optimize resource utilization. By implementing multi-level digitalization in data centres, organizations can ensure they have the capacity needed to meet their current demands and prepare for future challenges.
  • Technology is rapidly evolving and it is essential for businesses to keep up with disruptive tech in order to remain competitive. With the right strategy and resources, organizations can effectively tackle the uncertainties and constraints that come with embracing new technology. By proactively managing risks while focusing on their core mission, companies can ensure they are leveraging emerging technologies to their full potential and driving sustainable long-term success.
  • Integrating sustainability into business operations is becoming increasingly important for companies as environmental concerns continue to rise. Before committing to any cloud strategy, organizations should consider what their sustainability goals are and how the cloud can help them achieve those goals. This means looking closely at how their data centers are powered, what their carbon footprint is and what steps they can take to reduce it. Adopting sustainability before adopting the right cloud strategy will ensure that businesses not only remain competitive in today’s market but also do so in a way that is conscious of our environment.
  • Cloud computing is set to revolutionize the way businesses interact with technology. It has the potential to be a major business enabler in the future, allowing companies to access resources on-demand and enabling them to scale up capabilities quickly as their needs change. Additionally, cloud computing significantly lowers the cost of ownership for businesses by reducing hardware requirements, lowering energy costs and providing access to world-class software solutions. These advantages make it increasingly attractive as a viable business solution for organizations of all sizes.
  • As businesses become increasingly reliant on technology and the Internet, their IT spends are also increasing. This is due to the growing demand for more advanced and secure systems to keep up with the constant innovations in technology. Companies need to invest in reliable and up-to-date systems to ensure they remain competitive while protecting their valuable data. As a result, businesses are increasing their IT spends significantly to keep up with these demands.
  • The emergence of multi cloud technology is laying the foundation for futuristic businesses. It provides an agile platform to store data securely, establish connections with partners and customers, and access a variety of applications across multiple clouds. This technology has enabled businesses to become more efficient and effective in their operations, as well as open up new opportunities such as automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Multi cloud is quickly becoming a key enabler for business success in the future.
  • Edge data centres could be a key to digital transformation, as they allow for quicker access to data and computing power. This can enable businesses to make decisions more quickly, as well as create a more responsive customer experience. Edge data centres also bring cost savings by reducing the need for expensive cloud computing, making digital transformation more affordable and accessible. With the help of edge data centres, companies can better harness the power of technology to drive their business forward.
  • The modern workplace is rapidly evolving and businesses need to bridge the gap between humanistic and futuristic workforces in order to remain competitive. By understanding the needs of both traditional and modern employees, organizations can create a workplace that allows for collaboration and innovation while also promoting a safe, fair, and equitable environment. This requires investing in technology, developing strategies that promote employee engagement, and creating flexible working arrangements that meet the needs of both traditional and modern workers. With the right approach, businesses can strike an effective balance between humanistic values and technological advancement to create an optimal working environment.
  • The adoption of a cyber-security mesh approach provides flexibility and scalability. This approach utilizes distributed, interconnected technologies that enable different tools to work in conjunction with each other to provide the most comprehensive security protection. It allows organizations to tailor their security solutions to meet the specific needs of their environment without requiring them to invest in a large-scale, monolithic security infrastructure. Additionally, this approach allows companies to quickly scale their security as their environment changes or grows.
  • Enhanced automation in the data centre environment has the potential to elevate security standards significantly. Automation can automate many of the tedious manual tasks associated with security, such as patching, compliance, and logging. This allows organizations to focus on higher impact tasks such as threat detection and response. Automation also simplifies configuration management and helps reduce risk by ensuring that all security policies are consistently implemented across the entire data centre.
