Key Highlights of the panel discussion:-
- The role and responsibilities of a CIO and CTO in any company is set to evolve significantly over the coming years. With the rise in digital transformation, organizations will increasingly need leaders who have knowledge on the latest technologies and are able to create strategic visions that enable them to stay ahead in an ever-evolving market. Furthermore, as companies become more agile, it is expected that these leaders will be required to have an understanding of multiple disciplines, including data science, analytics, cybersecurity and cloud computing. As such, CIOs and CTOs must be ready to take on new responsibilities and possess the necessary skillset for success.
- As a tech leader, it is important to prioritize the transition of their company to the cloud. This transition will bring new levels of scalability, cost savings, and security that a traditional on premise system could not offer. By utilizing a cloud platform, companies can gain access to the latest technologies and have more flexibility in their operations. Moreover, the cloud also offers increased data protection and global accessibility for its users. Therefore, tech leaders should prioritize their company’s transition to the cloud in order to ensure they are taking advantage of the most up-to-date technology available.
- Over the next two years, our company will prioritize investing in technologies that can help streamline workflows, improve customer service and increase operational efficiency. We believe these investments will be instrumental to achieving our goals of increased productivity, cost savings and improved customer satisfaction. To this end, we will focus on technologies such as automation, machine learning and artificial intelligence to provide us with better insights into customer behaviour and help us create more innovative solutions for our customers.
- The use of conversational AI is an increasingly popular tool for businesses in the future. It is an efficient way to engage with customers, automate customer service requests and provide personalized experiences. Companies are already taking advantage of this technology by implementing Chabot’s or virtual assistants in their customer service systems to provide a more efficient way of engaging with customers. Going forward, it will be even more important for businesses to leverage conversational AI technologies in order to remain competitive and offer the best customer experience possible.
- The CIO organization will prioritize its full stack technology investments across a variety of functional areas. These areas include cloud solutions and services, artificial intelligence, block chain, data analytics, automation and machine learning. Additionally, the organization will invest in DevOps best practices and software development lifecycle (SDLC) optimization to ensure that all solutions are implemented in a secure, agile and cost-effective manner. Finally, the team will focus on ensuring that the organization is leveraging its existing technology investments across all areas of business to maximize their return on investment.
- Successful tech teams need a combination of technical and non-technical skills and competencies to be successful. This includes strong IT knowledge, effective communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of the organization’s objectives. Additionally, team members should be creative, innovative thinkers who can bring a fresh perspective to the table. All of these skills are essential for teams to work together effectively to develop and deliver high-quality technology solutions.
