What does a typical weekend look like for a senior leader like you, balancing work responsibilities and personal time?
On weekends, I keep work-related tasks to a minimum by checking emails to ensure there are no urgent issues and avoiding any changes on Fridays to prevent unexpected challenges. The rest of my time is spent staying updated on global, national, and industry news. I also dedicate significant time to my family, especially enjoying activities with my child, whether it’s exploring new places or having relaxed moments together. This balance not only keeps me informed but also helps me recharge and be fully present with my loved ones, ensuring I’m refreshed and ready for the upcoming week.
If you weren’t a C-suite leader, what career path would you have chosen instead?
If I weren’t in a C-suite role, I would likely pursue a career in education, such as becoming a teacher as I always had a deep interest in teaching and sharing knowledge. The opportunity to inspire and guide others, while contributing to their growth and development, is something I find very fulfilling, and I believe this path would allow me to leverage my experience and passion for learning in a meaningful way.
What is the one piece of life advice you would like to share with others as an individual?
One piece of life advice I’d share is to stay adaptable as the world evolves. The pace of change is accelerating, so it’s crucial to keep up with new technologies and developments. Being flexible and open to new ideas helps you stay relevant and make the most of emerging opportunities. Embracing this adaptability allows you to navigate the increasing speed of change effectively and remain successful in a rapidly evolving environment.
Who is your role model, and what qualities or achievements of theirs inspire you the most?
I draw inspiration from a wide range of people and experiences, rather than from any single role model. I believe there’s valuable goodness and lessons to be learned from various individuals and situations. Each person, regardless of their background or role, offers unique qualities and achievements that provide insights and motivation. This broad perspective allows me to continually learn and grow from diverse sources of inspiration
