Bengaluru, 4th August 2025: In today’s dynamic world of marketing and customer experience, success is no longer defined by metrics alone—it’s shaped by empathy, intentionality, and the ability to create genuine human value. In this insightful interview, we sit down with a CX leader who champions purpose over perfection and believes that solving for the human is the key to unlocking loyalty, innovation, and growth. From redefining balance to embracing experience design and timeless truths, this candid conversation offers a masterclass in values-driven leadership and mindful impact.

Join Mr. Subhajit Chakraborty in an interesting and engaging conversation with Mr. Marquis Fernandes who spearheads the India Business for Quantic India, as they explore the beliefs, values, key turning points, and mindset that have shaped Subhajit’s remarkable career in marketing and customer experience.

What’s one belief or value that has guided you in every major decision?

I’ve always believed that if you solve for the human, everything else falls into place — growth, loyalty, and innovation. Whether it’s a product launch or a team restructure, I ask: does this create real value for people? If the answer is no, it’s not the right path.

How do you balance family life with your demanding professional role?

I’ve learned that balance isn’t about equal time, it’s about intentional time. I set boundaries the way I’d set SLAs — clear, firm, and respected. I don’t always get it perfect, but I prioritize presence over perfection, knowing that being truly “there” matters more than being everywhere.

Was there a turning point in your career that defined everything that followed?

Yes — it was when I moved from task execution to experience design. I realized that real impact in CX isn’t about more touchpoints; it’s about meaningful ones. That shift made me a better strategist, leader, and listener — and transformed how I approached both work and people.

What advice would you give to your 25-year-old self-starting out in marketing or CX?

Don’t chase trends — chase truths. Customers don’t want gimmicks; they want to feel seen. Stay curious, ask “why” five times, and don’t underestimate soft skills — empathy, clarity, and patience will take you farther than any marketing playbook. Also: document your wins. You’ll need them later.

If you could describe your life philosophy in one sentence, what would it be?

Design with empathy, lead with courage, and live with intention — because how you show up every day shapes not only your career, but your legacy.
